Dear Andromeda - 5 months

Hello Meda love,

These months just keep flying by! This one went incredibly fast as we hosted an outdoor wedding in our yard. Between prepping the yard and attending a handful of soccer games, we spent so much time outside this month.

This is one of my favorite pictures of you

Milestones/Special Firsts:

*You enjoyed your first trip to the pumpkin farm. We went to a local place called Ramussen Farm and had the entire patch to ourselves. If I would have let you mouth the big ol dirty pumpkin, you would have.

*Arms free baby! I was nervous thinking oh how will she sleep?! It didn't even phase you. You slept through the night!

*You attended your first wedding. Uncle Alex married Auntie Xia this month in our yard. You watched them walk down the aisle under the big tent, then snuggled in close to mama during the speeches. It was pretty chilly. Luckily we could just walk across the front lawn when it was time for nonni nonni.

Things You Like Right Now:

*Fall hikes. Here you are at Nashotah Park. This is a fall highlight for mommy. We sat in the bench, listened to music, talked and towards the end of time here you fell asleep on my shoulder.

*Helping with leaves.

*Hanging out with a lap full of toys. #morningswithpapou

*Believe it or not, you love evening soccer practices. Most of the time, it is some solo time with mommy hanging out in the van, playing on a blanket outside, or going for walks. Mommy lets you sit shot gun while we're parked and every single time your legs just kick and kick because you are so excited.

*Mama. I keep saying "I don't remember my other babies this attached to me." I guess that is what happens when we haven't yet spent a day apart since mama is working from home. I love it.

*You've expanded your variety of purees - added some green beans, butternut squash, and raspberries to the mix. Mama pulls a puree out of the cabinet and your legs start kicking away in your high chair excited as can be.

Things You Don't Like Right Now:

*Now that you know how to sit and roll over so well, tummy times really doesn't interest you.  We need to cushion something next to you (when you're on your tummy) otherwise you just roll over within seconds.

Your Siblings:

*Ari and Elle have been very busy with fall soccer. Anyone knows where to find us on the weekends. You're such a champ at the games, along for the ride just happy to be outdoors. Leo spends his weekdays beside you. He spent a lot of time on his bike in the cul-de-sac while the fam was working in the yard.

Your Dad:

*Daddy still has been busy teaching virtually from the basement. He loves being able to spend his lunch hour with you and looks forward to getting outside with you and Leo in the afternoons. He's found there is so much more time to be with family while working from home since he doesn't have the early morning & late afternoon commutes. He's found many silver linings while working from home.

Your Mom:

*I think it would be safe to say that I already find myself spoiling you as in the kind of "this is my last baby" type of spoiling. You're attached to my hip most of the day. When you nurse before bed you always fall asleep. I let you snuggle on me while I watch TV. Then when you wake up at night, I'm guilty of getting you out of the crib to nurse you...and nurse you three hours later...when I know you would be just fine until the morning. I'm treasuring the snuggles, smiles and laughs. You're such a joy to be around sweet girl.

Love,

Your Mommy
