Dear Andromeda,
Where is the time going sweet child of mine? You're already 4 months old growing and progressing by the minute. You're one happy baby who enjoys taking in everything around you. You love the outdoors, Buckwheat, and hanging out with your brothers and sister. If you're amongst everyones company, you couldn't ask for anything more.
Milestones/Special Firsts:
*You are just starting to sit up on your own. You surely think you are a big girl (and you are of course)! Here you are watching your brothers soccer practice from afar.
*You rolled over for the first time. You're now a rolling from tummy to back pro!
*At your 4 month appointment, you were 16 pounds 6 ounces and 26 1/4 inches long.
*After your 4 month appt, Dr. Richer gave you the go ahead to start some purees. You love them! So far you have tried prunes, sweet potatoes, apples and carrots.
Things You Like Right Now:
*Mommy! If you're with your mama, you are happy. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, what we're doing, how tired or hungry you may or may not be, if you're with mama - you're happy!
*Anytime you are sitting up getting to play! Here you are reading your favorite musical book.
Things You Don't Like Right Now:
*Possibly teething? Your little cheeks have been starting to get real red and it appears you want to gnaw on everything..all.the.time.
Your Siblings:
*We celebrated Ari's 8th birthday! It was your first day sporting the BVB attire!
*You had such a great time hanging out in the river in Delafield. One last hurrah before school started!
*Ari and Elle are back to school - in person! It was a very difficult decision for mommy and daddy to make. We had the choice of sending them back or completing their schooling online this year. You sure are happy to see Ari and Elle when they return home from school each day.
*You and Leo are surely spending a lot of quality time together now that your older siblings are off to school!
Your Dad:
*Daddy is currently in week 4 of teaching virtually (from the basement). He is actually really enjoying it as he gets to have lunch with us everyday. He's also home much earlier in the afternoon as he doesn't have to make the rush hour commute. He's happy with all things soccer related right now as the fall academy season just started for Ari and Elle. His "happy place" is watching a game with you in his lap. Here we are celebrating his 38th birthday outdoors (a bit late) in Bayview.
Your Mom:
*We make such a good team. There are many days you're along for the ride when it means getting things done around the house.
*Working from home takes on a whole new meaning. We're so lucky to have Nonee and Papou over to take care of you and Leo while mama works. Nonee brings you to me when it is time to nurse. There are plenty of times where you fall asleep on me and stay with me while I'm tending to some work issues remotely. There are other days where I can spend some time with you outdoors while on my lunch break. There are so many perks to working from home.
My days with you are so bright! Your presence makes each and every one of us so happy! We love you Andromeda Jude.
