A Whole Lot of Nothing

Hey everyone - Sorry I haven't been posting much.  I am currently on day 18 ( I think) of bcp..so nothing exciting going on ttc wise.

I called my doctor's office yesterday and left a message about a couple questions I have (insurance & protocol related) for IVF #2 and I still have NOT received a call back.  I have to admit that I am becoming frustrated.  I feel that I am always the one checking in and begging for return calls.  Even after my retrieval, I was constantly waiting for phone calls and always ended up calling to obtain the info (daily).  I love my doctor, but I strongly dislike the office staff.  I don't know what to do.  Is this a sign that I was supposed to or that I should switch? I over analyze everything and I just don't know....

Who knows?  Maybe this month will just be a "healing cycle" (literally and emotionally).

I had the same issue with RE1. I LOVED RE1, but the office was definitely needing some help in the follow up and care aspect. If it weren't for him, we would have left a long time ago. RE2 is great, as is his office. While I like it, it doesn't make as big of a difference to me as it does to C. Are there other offices locally you can go to?

You are not alone. Two days ago I had to have a D&C. They found my baby had no heartbeat at 7 weeks (so back to the RE for us) Anyway, the day of the procedure and I got no call to tell me what time to go to the hospital. I finally called the RE's office and they totally admitted that they "forgot about me!!" They said, I "fell through the cracks!" OMG! I'm having a sad procedure and they couldn't even remember to call me to give me a time. I ended up having to have it at 7pm and didn't leave the hospital until midnight because I was an "after hour add-on" Trust me, your not alone when it comes to office staff and having to take the bull by the horns and do it yourself.

I'm sorry, I hope they call back soon. What a pain, especially at a fertility office when you have to deal with the staff so much.
